Knightdale, North Carolina, is located in the heart of Wake County. Knightdale is a great place to live and work. It is home to over 11,000 residents. The town square is the center of activity, with a variety of restaurants and businesses. For instance, pay a visit to Oak City Brewing Company when you have a chance. It is a family and animal-friendly place with indoor and outdoor seating. Grab a delicious craft beer and some great snacks in a beautiful park-like setting, surrounded by friendly, laid-back staff. If you're not a beer drinker, they also have wines and ciders to offer. The brewery is conveniently located close to several other must-visit spots in the city. One of the top attractions and activities in the area is Knightdale Station Park. If you're taking a walk with your four-legged bud, there's the Ashley Wilder Dog Park in the area. Other amenities include picnic shelters, sports fields, a beautiful wooden playground, and two miles of paved trails. The park is themed to reflect Knightdale's agricultural and railroad history - this is a nice feature that brings the whole open space together. There are Knightdale Environmental Education Park and Mingo Creek Park, among other outdoor recreational spots. Mingo Creek is your perfect place for a run. The park features a 3.5-mile trail that runs along the creek and connects to the 33-mile Neuse River Trail in the city of Raleigh. Along the way, you'll see beautiful views of the city and will have a chance to unwind, listen to some music, and spend time with your thoughts.Environmental Park is a beautiful place for a romantic walk around the pond with a cup of coffee and someone special. The park also includes several environmental sculptures and two observation overlooks. You may obtain a fishing license to be able to fish here. However, the Environmental Pond is a catch and release spot. To get even a better taste of the town and what it breathes with, visit the Knightdale Farmers Market. It is open from May till October and is a great way to support local businesses. There, you'll not only be able to find fresh produce and lots of food trucks with homemade treats, but also art, jewelry, clothing, and so much more.
