"Charming property in the heart of Queen Anne."
Overall Score4.0/ 5
The Mediterranean Inn is a fantastic discovery in the charming neighborhood of Queen Anne. Accommodations are simple and charming, similar to a cute Best Western or something of that nature. Every room is a good size and has a kitchenette and the hotel has laundry, bike rentals and weekly/monthly rates for long stay clients. They have an excellent location very near the shops and restaurants of Queen Anne, which is one of the best neighborhoods in the city. The property is connected to a Starbucks and has a nice, bright business center and free WiFi throughout the hotel. This would be a nice place for a group to stay while visiting the city, since they are also very close to downtown/Pike Place market as well as Seattle Center/the Space Needle. Even more so, this is an excellent choice for a long term client. The staff is sweet and friendly and gave the hotel a very homey and welcoming atmosphere.

"Location made it better."
Overall Score3.0/ 5
The location of this hotel is great and was very close to everything my group and I wanted to do. It was a short walk to the aquarium, pikes place, space needle and the museum. Plenty of bars nearby along with dicks burgers which was great however hotel service was not Tomas good as expected. My hotel reservation was made by phone and spoke with a member of the staff to book a two bedroom room however one of riving at the hotel was only one bed available. When going down to the front desk to ask about this issue I was told that I should've paid more attention when booking even though I was not the one who entered everything into the system. When presented this to the staff there was that much to be done and the excuse given was the fact that they had new associates who did not actually know the system as well as they should. After explaining itAfter explaining that this should not be the fault of a guest the stuff to not seem to be open or willing to make adjustments. I was instead told that unfortunately the hotel was sold out and there was nothing that could be done. Again they told me that requesting two beds did not guarantee two beds, even though when I booked the hotel I was assured I would have two beds. After some back and forth another staff member said they would have another room available the second night and that in the meantime would provide blankets and pillows so that one of us could sleep on the floor. Why not start with what could be done rather than get defensive of the mistakes made by the staff when booking. Great location made this the best part. I would not recommend this hotel after this experience. No attempt was made to offer a small discount for the inconvenience (5 10% off first night) not was a real apology offered but more of a 'it is what it is' response.

"Reception and service staff were great. Room was large and very comfortable."

fVery Nice hotel. Parking underground is good. $21/day is a bit pricey. Grat rooms, great location. Staf5 was extremely helpful. Having Starbucks in the building was a plus. Good restaurants and transportation very close by. Space needle and free "waterfront shuttle from there was super. Nice stay and would recommend this hotel.
