As always, The Townsend is an excellent. Staff is always attentive and available. Bartender was not the one I usually see and he was slow and inefficient. On a personal note, an upgrade to the toilet paper would be nice.

Whenever I visit Detroit, I always try and stay at The Townsend Hotel. On Friday the 13th, check in was flawless again. Room was excellent and I rested very well for both days. We had dinner one night and the food and drinks were all good and the food came out hot!
