"Higher rating only for the location"
Overall Score4.0/ 5
We have stayed at many of the other hotels in this area, always thinking of staying at the Capri as we walked by it. Finally did, and the location did not disappoint. A few noteworthy items, no extra towels are provided for the pool or beach use, bring your own! Parking spots are not negotiable, while I could fit our Volvo XC90 in them, it was a challenge to get in and out, having to pull out for the passenger side doors to open. Big vehicles beware, the hotel does have larger outdoor spaces but told me they would be $25 extra. The room was a bit of a disappointment, but was functional. Main TV was a LCD, but had no cable, only local 'antenna' stations. For some odd reason the old tube style TV in the bedroom did have cable? Facility was very secure, and you did not have to worry about the noisy drunk college kids like the others around this area. Couch was torn, carpet is old, maintenance looked to be by the same standard as many of the other places around here; whatever a can of paint and a tube of caulk can do is what was done. That said, the water was hot, the toilet worked, and you really are not coming to PB to sit in the room all day anyhow. While a bit high on the price for the physical room, the location and view made up for it.
