I made reservations and was CHARGED on The Knot for the Mayfair Coconut Grove. It was not until the week of my reservation that I discovered that the hotel was CLOSED for construction. I even received welcome texts from the hotel (that was not in OPERATION). On a fluke I checked the hotel website before checking in and saw that it was closed. Contacted The KNOT and they knew NOTHING about it. They could not guarantee my refund. They held my payment for months.

Horrible service. I was supposed to be staying at this hotel for a wedding I was attending. The wedding was rescheduled due to Covid. I called the hotel to cancel and they did not answer. I emailed the hotel to cancel. No response. Finally, months later, I get an email asking how my stay was. I called again to explain what had happened. The very rude person who answered the phone spent five mins explaining how I should have handled this earlier and there was nothing he could do. I tried in March. the booking was for July. I don't know how much earlier I could have done it.

Referred to as one of Miami's most unique hotels, our oversized Suites include hand-carved mahogany headboards, sea-grass furnishings, Egyptian cotton bedding, stone floors, and marble bathrooms with Roman spa baths. Japanese soaking tubs, on private balconies, in all suites. Our four-diamond Miami hotel rooms offer attentive service, upscale amenities, and blissful tranquility, in a sensual setting. Known as an artists' colony and the birth place of the city of Miami, historical Coconut Grove is filled with a restaurant, trendy boutiques, theaters and graceful parks. The Mayfair Hotel & Spa is conveniently located in the center of Coconut Grove, just steps from the fashionable Coco Walk, an open-air “strolling zone” filled with specialty shops, restaurants, outdoor café's and well-known name boutiques. We are only 15 minutes from South Beach, half a block from Biscayne Bay, 7 miles from the Miami International Airport, and 10 miles from the Port of Miami.

The coolest part of the Rooftop Pool is the Rooftop Cabana Club, which offers 7,000 square feet of space for a private lounge experience. Guests can grab a drink from the Cabana bar, or hang out in a cabana. Flat-screen televisions are also offered on the Rooftop Pool.
Guest Rooms – There are 179 guestrooms in this hotel, and a number of deluxe suites. Five floors are offered in this hotel. The Mayfield Inn & Spa offers a free fitness room for hotel guests.
