When we arrived, the front desk staff acted like we bother them to check in. The free breakfast was very skimpy. No grits or oatmeal. The potatoes were too salty and hard. The bathroom in our room was not very clean and the stool clogged. I saw high rating for this hotel but it must be under new management the quality has decreased.

"Family Reunion!"

Very in happy to say the least. See below the emails I sent through the stay only to be told well we did not charge you for the extra people in the room. I had a double room with four people my husband, children and I. Elle and Felicia I want to let you know how much of a disappointment this hotel is. I know it was not a chain and was not the newest. Unfortunately, I did not realized that I would experience such poor service and rooms that could use a much better cleaning. I so embarrassed the I choose this hotel for my family Reunion and subjected my family to such. So In case you have not heard let me give the your list of total failures note this list in not all inclusive: 1. Arrive on Friday around 11 or 11:30 PM. At registration I received one breakfast ticket for each day. Was told they could only provide the number of tickets for the registered guest. Now why being the organizer, is this the first time I heard of such. In fact, before signing the contract, I questioned you concerning the statement "breakfast with rate" and was told that up to four per room may eat breakfast free. When is okay for you to change what was committed to in a contract? NEVER! Just to be clear, other family members were not provided enough tickets and equally dissatisfied with the condition of the rooms. In fact one niece went out and brought McDonalds for her family that had two rooms on Sunday morning. Two other brothers did not eat on Saturday because they were without adequate tickets. 2. When explaining to the evening shift supervisor, I believe his name was Dewayne, he was an absolute arrogant, smart mouth and displayed nothing close to customer service. When I was trying to tell him what was in the contract, he stated " it is after 11 tonight, I can only give you what is in the computer. Please note we complete you check in document and showed them that we had four ( my husband and two children). Bottom line is his ride arrived and he had no time to deal with us. If the rest of my family was not already checked in, I would have left that night and went elsewhere. Unfortunately, It seems to be in line with the issues that started during registration. I should have gone with my gut then but was reassured the issues we were experince was because Felicia was out. 3. On Saturday morning, I called and came to the front desk several times. I was able to talk with the morning supervisor who was pleasure and tried to help as best as she could. She reassured me that Mr. Jorge Dominique would get back to me. I finally got Mr. Dominique after four PM when he was suppose to be at the hotel by noon and explained the situation and he was suppose to work this out and get back to me. He never did. 4. Also on Saturday, I came back to the hotel after a long day at the reunion ready to take a shower before going to bed. Unfortunately we found to one wash cloth, on hand towel and one towel. I called to get two wash cloths and two towels. In a few minutes someone arrive and provided us two hand towels and two wash cloths. We were told this was all they had since no one showed up to do laundry on Saturday. Similarly, on Friday night my Brother requested extra towels and it took more than one and 1/2 hours to get tickets. 4. Sunday, went back to the Front desk and after much convincing, Felicia helped and provided us some more breakfast tickets for Sunday. 5. Came back to the room on Sunday evening, the room had not be cleaned without fresh towels. We walked to the front desk to get towels. Fortunately, were given the towels. AS you can see, we experienced a total lack of customer service and it is very much reflective of failures related to hotel management. As a Sales Director, you have totally breached the contract I signed. I am available in the morning before I go back to NC and would love to discuss this further with you. The rooms weren't very clean. The carpet looked as though it hadn't been vacuumed. One of my beds had sheets that hadn't been changed. The noise level during my stay was just outrageous. A biker gang who stayed there Saturday night and Sunday was simply unchained, even after 1:00 AM. Surely, I will never choose the hotel again.

"KCB Family Reunion!"

Our family reunion was August three 6th. We had several instances where we requested specific items such as a handicapped accessible room for my 86 year young Mother before our check in as well as the pool being closed earlier than the posted times and we also requested a room for our reunion Meet and Greet, which we also did not receive. As a whole, the experience was not one I would recommend to anyone asking me about the property. As a former employee of the Marriott Hotel chain, I would expect better Customer service, which we did not receive over the four days we stayed at your hotel.

The manager at the front desk was not polite and did not help me understand the full policy. She made me feel as though I was being a bother to her. When. I arrived she told me she would hold my card on file until I pay at the end of my stay. I explained to her that I have cash, she then said in a nasty tone that the hotel place a 200.00 hold on all cards. I told her I didn't have that much on my card, so cancel my room. She huffed and puffed and handed me my card back. I had to find another place to stay because I had to drive two hours to get to Clinton. The next morning I received a email stating that I had a charge on my card for $71.90 from the hotel. I came back to the hotel to find out why my card was charged and I was told it was a cancellation fee. I canceled the same night because I didn't have the money on my card. I need my money refunded to me please. However the hotel from what I did see was beautiful.
