We were on Long Island for the PGA Championship, The Holiday Inn location, right off Rte 495 and the Northern State Parkway was extremely convenient to the golf course as well as many other attractions. It is very easy to get to and explore from. Our room was clean, perfectly adequate, but nothing special. My one complaint is that there was no safe in the room. We didn't eat at the restaurant at all, but we did hang out at the bar both nights. That was the highlight of our trip and the main reason that we would choose this hotel over other more upscale hotels in the area. Ethan was the bartender both nights. He was awesome very funny, very personable and so much fun to hang out with. If you're looking for a fun experience at a reasonable price, stay here.

The Holiday Inn of Plainview is a full service hotel conveniently located on the Nassau/Suffolk county border, easily accessible from any of the major highways (Exit 46 L.I.Expwy /Exit 38 Northern State Pkwy). Experience our warmth, comfort,service and value that cater to the diverse needs of the individual business and leisure traveler. Our recently renovated hotel includes 125 guest rooms, 2 Jacuzzi suites, outdoor pool and patio area, full service restaurant, lounge and supper club, room service, catering, 24 hour fitness and business center. A sample of our many amenities and services offered include complimentary newspaper, pay-per-view movies and cable, express check-out, in room coffeemaker, iron with ironing board, make-up mirror, hairdryer, clock radios, 25” TV, two telephones with voice mail, same-day laundry service, coin operated laundry, fax/photocopy service and complimentary hi-speed internet for all guests. Business needs can also be tended to in one of our 5 conference rooms - wireless internet service included, audio visual equipment upon request and many food service options. Enjoy lively nightlife in our Monroe's Supper Club - DJ entertainment on Friday evenings and a Live Band and DJ on Saturday evenings.
