The stay was pleasant and cozy. Hotel is pet friendly. The morning sunrise view was very breathtaking over Lake Superior! I would recommend this hotel to folks I care about!

This is advertised as a "lakeview" stay with "economy" prices but not so on both counts. $200 (without taxes and fees added on) for one night (a Saturday) but Sunday night rate drops to $124. Lakeview can be seen as you drive on the highway on your way out. Also, no breakfast at all. Beds were comfortable though and the room clean, with moderate updating. Floors creaked though when walked on. Not staying here again. Very disappointed.

So we call while on the road to book a room. The agent gives us a confirmation number and we are looking forward to a good night's sleep. Just another half hour of driving and we will be there. And only $125! Upon presenting the confirmation to the desk clerk we are informed that they are full and have been for hours. "Sorry, you are the third customer that we have turned away tonight. We aren't sure why the keep booking rooms that we don't have." So back on the road we continue to look for a room and finally give up and drive through the night to get home. The next day I am checking my bank account for activity during our trip. Well low and behold there is a charge for $255 for our stay at the hotel we were turned away from! Yup, no room but they took our money ($100+ over what you quoted on the phone). Time to make a phone call. "Oh, we are so sorry for any trouble we have caused". That is nice but I want my money returned to my account. "Well, I will have to check with my up line to see if we can do that". ?????? They called back an hour later with "good news". They are going to be able to refund the money in five business days. My that is good news! You took it in five seconds and now it will be a mere five days before I can have my money back. Thank you so much for your customer focused service. So I have no idea whether this is a good facility or not. But it seemed nice from the outside.

It cost me $450 for two nights here. There is no pool no breakfast in the Wi Fi was unobtainable. Nobody could get any Wi Fi even with the password. I will never stay here again. I get that you can't have breakfast for Covid but the price should be lower then. Highway robbery.
