The Hotel Niederländischer Hof first opened in 1901 and since then established itself as one of the leading hotels in Schwerin. In 1920 the hotel expanded into the buildings at Alexandrinenstrasse overlooking the "Pfaffenteich". The building now stands under heritage protection. The hotel name commemorates the wedding of the Duke of Mecklenburg with the Dutch Queen of in 1901.The hotel also had the title as purveyor to the court of her Majesty Queen Wilhelmina and his Royal highness Prince of the Netherlands, Duke Heinrich of Mecklenburg.Following this unique tradition, the hotel today is luxuriously equipped and continues to welcome its guests with a distinctive atmosphere.Our hotel has 33 rooms with 64 beds in Apartments, Suites, Double Rooms and Single Rooms.
