Property Description

The Mount Hotel and Conference Centre is Wolverhampton's Premier 4 Star Hotel somewhere very special with a wealth of character and charm. Located in Tettenhall Wood on the outskirts of Wolverhampton lies this graceful country house set within 4 acres of listed manicured gardens and ornamental woodland.The Hotel is a Grade II Listed building 19th Century Manor House originally built in 1865 for Benjamin Manders, a local wealthy man who created and developed a successful paint and textile business. The house retains many of its original features including the rosewood-paneled Great Hall and elegant staircase and has benefited from the addition of a state of the art conference centre.Accommodation at the Mount comprises of 67 fully en-suite bedrooms located in the newly refurbished Grade II listed stables, the main house and the custom-built wing. We offer deluxe bedrooms, twin Bedrooms, family bedrooms, superior deluxe bedrooms, executive bedrooms, suites and an apartment. The rooms were completely refurbished with opulent king sized beds, LCD televisions, complimentary WiFi and luxury toiletries.The Mount Hotel is the ideal venue for conferences, meetings, weddings and special events. It boasts 15 conference rooms ideal for events from 1-to-1 interviews or conferences for up to 200 delegates. The hotel offers a wealth of facilities to accommodate every event and has been designed for maximum flexibility, from the stylish Classic Boardrooms for senior management meetings to dedicated training rooms created to provide an ideal tutoring and learning environment.The hotel is the perfect setting for weddings and we have several rooms licensed for civil ceremonies and civil partnerships.The totally self-contained, purpose built Conference Centre located in the heart of the hotel is fully equipped with the latest audio-visual and presentation equipment. Several of the meeting rooms have air conditioning and all rooms benefit from natural daylight.The hotel encompasses a stylish bar and lounge and an award-winning 2 Rosette restaurant overlooking bespoke gardens whilst enjoying your afternoon tea experience or dining from our Ala Carte menu. Within the gardens are flat grass areas suitable for all types of team building activities.
