First Hotel Kong Frederik First Hotel Kong Frederik is one of the city's most classical and historic hotels with a prime location close to the Town Hall square, Tivoli Gardens and boutique shopping. The hotel has throughout the years been the choice of international performing artists and legendary Danish poets. In April 2010 First Hotel Kong Frederik opened the doors to a refurbished hotel that offers the same legendary Townhouse atmosphere as before, - but with a twist of modernity. The familiar, comfortable and welcoming surroundings will still give you the feeling of living like a king. In the large atrium in the middle of the hotel you can enjoy your coffee in the shade of the large tree whilst overlooking the library. Precisely library theme is one of the recurring elements of the new décor which is the actual theme in some of the rooms where wallpaper is decorated with beautiful books. Besides "Library" is also "Romantic" and "Classic” style recurring themes in the rooms.
