Lloret de Mar Spain Accommodations

'Intelligence without ambition is a bird without wings, - Salvador Dali born in Catalonia, Spain famously said.

Lloret de Mar is a budget holiday destination located on the Costa Brava. This former fishing village is popular with tourists seeking sun and relaxation usually on a package holiday.  There is more to this town than just the beach though, and is plenty to do for people who enjoy arts and culture. The town has many museums, a castle, and some beautiful modernist architecture. As it's so popular with those looking for package holidays there are many cheap hotels to choose from.

Budget Choices

There are quite a few one and two star hotels in Lloret de Mar offering the best value for money. Hostal Mary is one such option with twenty cheap rooms for visitors. Its simple and unfussy interior is reflected in the price, and make it a great base for those looking to explore the Costa Brava and wider area. There is air conditioning in the rooms which is a great bonus, and not always found in budget hotels in Lloret de Mar. This hotel is situated only 300 metres from the beach and 100 metres from the bus station. Hostal Magnolia is another option for those wanting cheap hotels. This family run accommodation offers more of a cosy, welcoming hostel environment than a hotel one. Centrally located and really close to the beach, this is the perfect place for budget travellers looking to enjoy the town's coast and commercial centre.

Four and Five Star Options

In addition to the lower end Lloret de Mar hotels, there are also plenty for those wanting some luxury. Evenia Olympic Palace is one of a few Lloret de Mar hotels by this company, and is also the newest. It is a four star option in a quiet area of Lloret de Mar, but not too far from the local attractions. All rooms come with a terrace for guests to relax on and enjoy the views, and also much needed air-conditioning. There is also Hotel Evenia Olympia Suites which offers spacious apartments and family rooms. Hotel Rosamar and Spa is another hotel in a prime location directly facing Lloret de Mar's beach. The hotel has some great facilities including a garden terrace, four swimming pools, and a fitness centre too.

Independent Choices

Those seeking something a little different have a few options in Lloret de Mar in terms of independent hotels. Sant Pere del Bosc Hotel and Spa is a large and grand building with nineteen suites. All rooms are individually designed to make guests feel at home. The on-site spa offers many different treatments for guests, and with so much choice relaxation has never been easier. The restaurant is proud to serve healthy and modern dishes, and a variety of wine from the region. There is also the Fergus Style Plaza Paris Spa which is a ten minute walk from the beach. It has a spa providing many services within its two treatment rooms.
