Reservations assigned me two rooms on two different floors. That was unacceptable. I had a 97 year old and one room and they could not turn the air conditioner off or the heat on.

When I reserved the room I was told the room was $161.00 a night for a king and I get my bill / receipt and was charged $208 a night. We won't be back with service like that.

I'm handicapped and the handicapped room accommodations were excellent. I currently reside in Maryland but I'm originally from Elizabeth City (EC). Born and raised there! I had to return to EC for my sister's funeral. The staff at the Fairfield Inn were very NICE! I will definitely seek the Fairfield Inn accommodations in EC for any future lodging needs. THANKS!

Property description
Our hotel was built in September 2007 and is located off Highway 17 Bypass, Exit 268, on Halstead Blvd. We have just completed a total renovation of the entire hotel. The hotel consists of 97 rooms - 33 standard kings, 46 double queens, and 18 suites. All rooms have microwaves, refrigerators, coffee pots, iron, ironing board, and hairdryer. Our indoor heated pool and whirlpool is open year-round. Complimentary hot breakfast is served daily from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. weekdays and 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. on weekends. We are located in a quiet setting and have a large, well-lit parking lot. We have a 24-hour deluxe business center, a 24-hour exercise room, a guest laundry on-site, and a 24-hour self-service pantry that is well-stocked with food, beverages, snacks, ice cream, sundries, and toiletries. We have free wired and wireless internet service. Local calls are free, as is the daily newspaper. Our meeting room can be set up several different ways to accommodate up to 40 people. Audio-visual equipment is available at an extra charge. We are a totally non-smoking hotel and pets are not allowed, with the exception of service animals.
