The Motel is located next to the Stadium and Lake Red Rock. Less than 5 minutes drive from our hotel is the Knoxville Raceway, also known as the 'Sprint Car Capital of the World'. The National Sprint car hall of Fame & Museum is Non -Profit Organization incorporated in the state of Iowa for the Sole purpose of preserving the history of the sport car racing and honoring its greatest achieversRaces at the are held on Saturday nights though some special events may start as early as Wednesday and build up to Saturday. Regular events include 360 cubic inch and 410 cubic inch sprint car racing. The Knoxville Nationals, one of the paramount sprint car events in the US, are held every year in August. Pella, IA The city of Pella, IA is barely 15 miles from our hotel and is home of the annual Tulip Time Festival. It is a celebration of Pella's Dutch heritage and features tulip gardens, performances, crafters, music, food, Dutch costumes, and daily parades. The festival is held for three days (Thursday, Friday & Saturday) during the first weekend in May. Lake Red Rock Less than 10 miles from our hotel is Lake Red Rock - the place-to-be for those that enjoy fishing. The beautiful view and the serenity of the lake will take your breath away.
