"Needs Updates Dump the Robot."

Overall the place was just OK. But it looked sad it needs an update. All the carpet needs replacing it looks gross in places. The human staff were all wonderful. Now my big beef: you walk in to the front desk there is no one there. Then I hear a voice coming from a Kiosk calling me over. You have to talk to a screen with someone who is somewhere? Also they try to make it seem like they are there by keying in a picture of the front desk behind them. Very Lame! Every time you go by there is a head staring at you. When I asked where they were they were very evasive. So I go through the check in with the robot. Then I asked where to park and directions to my room and they were useless. If this is where that hotel chain or the hotel industry is going it is very sad. Latter in our stay we needed something I went to the front desk and there was a human being there. Not only did they help me they went out of their way to get what I needed. I will not recommend this hotel.

I had to put my own bags on the cart to bring them to my room as the man who worked at the front desk there grabbed the other cart and walked right by without helping me or offering. The maintenance man coming up as I entered my room however did help and even brought the cart back.

The front desk service was very accommodating from the moment of my arrival. I was assigned an upgraded room that was relatively close to the front desk area. This made it easy for me during the check out process and departure for Fresno Yosemite International Airport across the highway from the hotel.
