Florida is beautiful year-round, but it's important to avoid hurricane season. The off-season where you'll find the least amount of tourists and better overall hotel rates is usually between January to mid-February and early December prior to the holiday season. Holidays tend to be more expensive and busy for the Orlando, Florida, area. You will find larger crowds and increased hotel prices in late May, early June, and late August as compared to the winter months, but these times of year are still going to have better rates than peak season, which generally coincides with when kids aren't in school and families go on vacation during the summer months.
