It is not the red roof inn as advertised online .. very nasty, mold and had to even go out and buy tissue for room .. ask for a refund.

"Won’t Stay There Again."

The beds are terrible not comfortable at all. You can hear other guests very clearly through the walls. We found out after we checked in that tons of construction or highway workers stay there and they congregate in the parking lot. I didn't feel safe at all going to the car alone.

-Conveniently located between I-20 and I-95 off of Highway 521 the Red Roof Inn Sumter is a budget friendly hotel for business and leisure travelers. Many shopping and eating opportunities are located within one mile including Sumter Mall and many restaurants. The hotel is also located nearby to many local attractions including Sumter Exhibition Center the Sumter Opera House Palmetto Park Dillion Park Crystal Lakes Golf Course and Swan Lake. The hotel is also just a short drive from Morris College Sunset Country Club Sumter Airport Shaw Air Force Base The Links at Lakewood and Beech Creek Golf Club. All guestrooms include free WiFi flat screen TV microwave refrigerator iron ironing board and hair dryer. Select rooms also include a larger desk area and in-room coffee. Free continental breakfast is offered daily from 6:30-10:30 and a business center and coin laundry are available for guest use during your stay.
