Accommodation Princes Gate Hotel offers 50 beautifully appointed, Four and ½ Star Hotel rooms in a variety of configurations. Each room is distinctive with their own signature charm, expressed through individual classic style. The Hotel The Princes Gate Hotel is situated at the best street address in Rotorua at the entrance to the Government Gardens, just a quick stroll to the waterfront, city centre, restaurants, bars and cafes, the Museum, opposite the Convention Centre and 200 meters from the Energy Events Centre. The 1897 heritage hotel is beautifully preserved and provides modern guest facilities combined with original characteristics. The hotel also features two conference rooms that including a boardroom, large meeting room seating up to 90 guest’s theatre style. In addition, the hotel boasts fantastic food & beverage outlets. Memories Function Room Memories depicts the history and charm of the Edwardian era in New Zealand at the turn of the century. The room features high studded Kauri ceilings, chandeliers, air conditioning, natural light all expressed through a lush classic interior. The room opens out to the pool and garden bar. Boardroom The Boardroom is situated off of the hotel’s drawing room. This intimate private space is the ideal venue to hold an important board meeting, private dinner or casual gathering. The Monarch Function Venue The Monarch Function Venue is an historical building adjoining the Princes Gate Hotel. This building, which was formerly the Rotorua Gentlemen’s Club, has had a total refit in May of 2013. The Centre offers three conference rooms with the main room having the capacity to seat 130 in a formal dinner setting. The room has been completely wired for sound and lighting to performance standard. The Princes Gate Hotel provides top class entertainment for conference dinners and the like. The centre has two smaller rooms that can cater for up to 30 guests in each, ideal for use as breakout areas or for the smaller meeting. This small boutique area is ideal for exclusive use. The Club Restaurant The Club Restaurant is renown in the local community for is cuisine and personal service. Open for breakfast from 6.30 daily. During the evenings the restaurant is open from 6.00pm nightly and offers a classic cuisine menu infused with fresh local produce and European flare. Cabaret Dinner Shows Cabaret dinner shows have been a feature at the Princes Gate Hotel for 25 years where fantastic entertainment is fused with great food, impeccable service and elegant surroundings. Gate Bar Located on the ground floor, Gate Bar is an intimate lounge bar; the perfect place to meet with colleague’s pre and post conference, for a pre-dinner drink or just relax and enjoy the ambience.
