Grand Hyatt Melbourne is located prestigiously on Collins Street, surrounded by the city's high fashion and fine dining. Many of Melbourne's top tourist attractions are all within walking distance, including business, retail, sporting and theatre districts. Featuring 550 spacious guest rooms and suites, delectable dining and an events floor with 15 innovative spaces.

Green sustainability

We strive to conserve resources and reduce waste by integrating innovative technology into the design and constructions throughout our hotel as well as foster a culture of environmental care among our employees, guests and business partners. Our green initiatives include: * Implementing water saving fixtures to basins and showers including dual flush toilets in all hotel guestrooms. *Installing motion-activated passive infrared sensors to control the hotel's airconditioning units. *Using LED lighting within all hotel guestrooms *Implementing a comprehensive waste reduction system and recycling program with colour coded bins and signage. *Installing an award-winning innovative food waste composter called a Closed Loop Organics Unit, which converts 12 tonnes of food waste per month into high quality composted organic fertiliser, saving it from going into landfill. *Recycling used batteries and old electronic appliances *Partnering with Soap Aid to collect and recycle used soap to then send to developing countries around the world. *Working with suppliers to reduce or eliminate packaging of all products that are delivered to the hotel
