Cleaning Policy: Increased frequency of cleaning with hospital-grade disinfectants on all high-touch surfaces and areas such as lobbies, guestrooms, restaurants, meeting and event spaces, recreational areas, public restrooms, fitness centers, elevator buttons and all employee areas. Employees wear appropriate PPE and are trained on proper use and disposal of PPE Masks and gloves have been provided to employees. Prominently placed hand sanitizer stations throughout hotel public areas, entrances, and employee areas. Housekeeping does not enter guest rooms during a stay, unless by special request or circumstances. Rooms are left vacant 24-72 hrs prior to or after cleaning if possible<

Pleasant rooms, good breakfast but for some reason there was no lamps on any of the bedside tables. This is really inconvenient as it is difficult to read in bed without a lamp on the bedside table and the when you want to turn out the light and go to sleep you have to get out of bed and turn off the light on the wall switch. Really irritating.

Room was tacky. Sparse. Window spotted, dirty. But bed was delicious??????????. Very comfy! Disappointed in bathroom. Skimpy on towels. Need grab bar in tub area for safety. Water pressure and shower strength wonderful! Poor paint job. Coulda used thicker washcloth. And an extra hanger or 2. Have stayed here many times to watercolor in Santa Fe and super enjoyed it. Price was high now. I'm 81 years old and have to count the pennies. My adult daughter came, too. I felt like I had over sold the place. Hey, I probably will come again but add a little charm. OK. The price was a few bucks below comparable hotels in the area. It is just okay IF you like a noisy air conditioner, a box bed that squeaks with every move, and, enjoy ants in the bathroom and near the front door. Free breakfast? No. The hotel tacks on a 15.00 for extras. Yeah, like food, parking, lights. Yes, I asked about it and that is what I was told by a staffer. Value is in the eye and wallet of the customer. But I will be seeking other accommodations when I return to the area.

Room was nice. Friendly staff, great breakfast and close to plaza. Shuttle was wonderful and accommodating for us and our two pups with a stroller. Would stay here again and recommend it to family and friends.

Over Priced Small Room. Your standard room is small, very disappointing for price charged. We stayed at another establishment for three days for less than your one day rate. You are good. But not that good.

When we entered the room it was filthy and hot. We requested to stay in a section with no pets. We were put two doors down from a barking dog. There was a man's dirty black sock on the floor and could not walk barefoot because of the amount of filth on the floor. The bathroom floor had even more filth and sticky around the tub. I cleaned up the floor with a wash cloth. discussing! When I complained their answer was we have no rooms available to switch you too so talk to management in the morning. I tried and according to the receptionist the manager refused to talk to me. When we tried to cancel our reservation for the following night they were just as rude and told me, since you reserved through another agency I was on my own. Bottom line do not stay at the Sage Hotel in Santa Fe, NM. You've been warned.

For the expense of the room, one would expect a little more space or perhaps the ability to open the window without compromising their privacy. The pool was tiny and felt crowded with just five people around it. The fitness center is just a treadmill, an elliptical and free weights. The staff, mainly the front desk employees, were not very friendly and were not helpful when asked questions. All in all, if the cost was about $60 a night, I think I would have been satisfied with what was received. But with the initial charge being over $330 and an extra $30 "amenity" fee added, the best I can do is a poor rating. Also there is a problem with my bill, stating the cost was a little less than what I was already charged, but that is another phone call I'll have to make. Next time I will check out the Motel 6 across the street.
