Property Description

In the middle of the lakes of Lombardy, surrounded by beautiful landscapes and located just a few steps away from the Varese lake that dominates from the restaurant and the bedrooms located on the first floor of the hotel, the Relais sul Lago has a very strategic position: very close to the International Airport Malpensa and on halfway between Lugano and Milan. Due to the position the Relais sul Lago is suitable both for business and leisure clients, as well as for active leisure lovers - there is a cycling route around the lake (28 km), Varese lake is famous by rowing sports. The hotel has a beautiful garden where an outside swimming pool is located, and which can be transformed in a wonderful location for any kind of event: weddings, ceremonies, meetings, aperitifs which are organized weekly during the summer season. There are three types of rooms to choose from, each able to satisfy the different needs of clients: Classic Room, Superior Room and Suite. Superior Rooms are cozy and each of them is characterized by furniture and details. Each room has a terrace overlooking the Varese lake. The Suite offers a sitting area with a dining table and a terrace overlooking the lake. The room is spacious and comfortable and can accommodate families. “La Fonte Spa” is a name of the wellness centre, the wellness route consists of 2 steam baths, sauna, emotional shower, jacuzzi, inside pool with water of 32°C and a possibility of a swimming against the current. The treatments are varied and different and embody the experience and study of the operators of La Fonte Spa. La Fonte Spa offers unique experience with personalised and refined treatments. The kitchen of the restaurant of the Relais sul Lago represents the philosophy of the hotel in it's dishes, the restaurant is able to satisfy the requirements and needs of every customer. The menu is rich of national and international food, every dish is prepared with attention; the vegetables are always seasonal and different products are from the local producers.
