Property Description

The Bull Hotel is Peterborough's premier hotel, and is the only AA recognised four star hotel in the city centre. The Bull is the ideal place to stay for business or pleasure as the hotel is conveniently located in Westgate, at the heart of the business, entertainment and shopping districts of the Peterborough. The Hotel is positioned directly opposite the entrance to Queensgate Shopping Centre, the largest of its kind in East Anglia, providing weather free access to the Hotel on foot from Peterborough Railway Station which is only a few minutes away, and probably quicker than taking a taxi! The Hotel is also convenient for travelling to the wider area with easy access to the major road and railway networks. Heathrow, Stanstead, and Gatwick Airports are just over an hour away by car. Originally dating back to the seventeenth century, this grade two listed building has, over the years, been carefully restored and tastefully refurbished, to provide guests with a high degree of four star comfort, whilst our friendly and efficient staff offers service and hospitality which is unrivalled in the city. Over half of our bedrooms have been refurbished to executive standards, which include full air conditioning, mini bar facilities, superior levels of comfort, marble fitted bathrooms with power showers, trouser press with ironing centre, satellite television with Freeview, and a current dvd library available from reception. Complimentary WiFi access is available to hotel guests in all bedrooms as well as all our public areas, and there is even a workstation just in case you have forgotten your laptop! The spacious and comfortable public rooms with their comfy seating, and seductive lighting are crammed full of exquisite oil paintings and fine antique pieces, enabling you to take a minute or two to relax and unwind in gracious surroundings. By contrast, The Brasserie with its more modern appearance serving traditional, as well as more contemporary dishes lovingly prepared by our Executive Chef and his team, is a favourite with the locals and hotel guests alike. Pastroudis Bar and Cafe offers snacks and meals throughout the day as well as a tempting selection of wines, spirits, and beers from the bar. Floor Service is available for those who prefer the tranquility of their bedroom. Adjacent to the Hotel is our modern purpose built Conference Centre which is fully air conditioned with naturally daylit rooms. The Hotel has a total of fourteen Meeting Rooms with the largest accommodating up to 250 persons. Our expertly trained staff will be on hand throughout to ensure that your function from the start to the finish is a resounding success. Complimentary and secure car parking is available to all hotel guests, which is accessible from our Fitzwilliam street entrance, providing convenient access to The Hotel Reception.
