Property description

Nestled in the lovely village of Canning under the shadow of the North Mountain and overlooking the dykes of the Minas Basin, the Farmhouse Inn offers you the perfect headquarters for your exploration of the Bay of Fundy and Annapolis Valley region of Nova Scotia. (10 minutes from Wolfville). We have 6 rooms/suites and are quoted for double occupancy ($20.00 extra per person). 2 rooms sleep 2; 2 rooms sleep 3; and 2 rooms sleep 4 for a total occupancy of 18. See below a description of each room/suite - all rooms have a private ensuite. NOTE: the dining room and parlor could be used as a meeting room and we have large spaces outdoors where meetings could also be held (weather permitting). Acadia Room: This main floor room boasts easy accessibility for guests. It features a queen size bed, decorative antique fireplace, TV and DVD and Wifi. The large ensuite bathroom features an oversized walk-in shower. Apple Blossom Room: This lovely room, decorated in the green of apple country, includes a queen-size cannonball pine bed, air conditioning, TV/ DVD and WiFi and an ensuite bathroom with shower. North Mountain Suite - This 2-room premium suite is located in the carriage house. The spacious bedroom boasts a king-size bed, a gas fireplace with a lovely sitting area with TV/DVD and WiFi . There is also a separate sitting room with a desk and sofa bed. This stunning suite has air-conditioning, a full ensuite bathroom and a separate entrance for total privacy. Minas Basin Room: This pretty room includes a luxury queen-size cannonball pine bed, flat screen TV, desk and ensuite bathroom with a large walk-in rain shower. The adjoining sitting room has a sofa-bed, flat screen TV, WiFi, A/C and a cozy fireplace. Fundy Suite: This cozy 2-room suite (bedroom and living room) is located in the main house and has a luxurious queen-size bed, fireplace, flat screen TV, Wi-Fi, desk, sofa-bed and A/C as well as an ensuite bathroom with tub and shower. Annapolis Room: This ground-floor room is located in the carriage house. It has a Queen Bed and ensuite bathroom with shower. The adjoining sitting room completes this bright and comfy 2-room suite. Included is a sofa bed (double), TV/DVD, Wi-Fi, A/C and gas fireplace. The suite has its own private entrance and opens onto a deck.
