This Hampton Inn is the best hotel in Springfield, Illinois. The staff is so helpful. The rooms are lovely. The swimming pool has long open hours and it is pretty big for an indoor hotel pool. I will always stay here when I am in Springfield.

Looking at the ad for this location the phone number listed was not the local motel number. When checking in the desk clerk told me the rate was much lower than I was quoted over the phone but since I had already booked I was charged the higher rate. Does not give Hilton a very good image will definitely take this experience into consideration for future travels.
