Property Description

Airport View Hotel (AVH) is a cozy boutique hotel situated on Plot 34-36A Kiwafu Close in a quiet and serene environment that overlooks Lake Victoria, Entebbe International Airport (where it derives its name), United Nations Logistics Base, State House, Nsamizi Hill and other important sites. It is just a ten (10) minutes' drive to Entebbe International Airport and a 5 minutes' walk to the United Nations Logistics Base. This gives it a comparative advantage over other hotels and is a hotel of choice for most corporate clients & travelers in and out of the country. Rooms: 18 en-suite rooms (Standard & Deluxe)All rooms are equipped / furnished with air-conditioning (with exception of 2 rooms), 4G Wi-Fi, Cable TV(Dstv), mosquito nets, smoke detectors and facilities for making tea/coffee. Conference Room (capacity: 60 people). Located in a very conducive environment with the latest purpose-built facilities and accommodates up to 60 delegates. The room is air conditioned and is ideal for corporate meetings, seminars and workshops. The cost of hire includes flip stand & flip chart, Public Address System, note books, markers & pens, white board, mineral water (morning & afternoon), 4G Wi-Fi, LCD Projector & administrative support desk. Business Centre for internet access and secretarial services – printing, photocopying, binding, lamenting, scanning etc. (Printing of air tickets and boarding passes for resident guests is free). Gardens (capacity: Upper Gardens 200 people & Lower Gardens 600 people). Spacious, well maintained and which give a homely environment for relaxation; they are also ideal for parties, picnics, bird-viewing, camping and other similar activities. (Car park for 150 cars). Payment of bills is made at the reception either in Cash (Uganda Shillings 'UGX' or United States Dollars 'USD') or by Credit card (VISA, MasterCard, American Express & Visa Electron. Payment by credit card attracts no surcharge).

Green Sustainability

We are sensitive to the environment and have fulfilled the requirements under the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulations as stipulated by the National Environmental Management Authority in Uganda. We hold a Certificate of Approval of Environmental Impact Assessment by the governing body. On a daily basis and in observance of the environmental impact requirements, we ensure that for example we use energy saving bulbs for lighting, we separate the plastic items such as mineral water bottles from the items that can be converted into manure such as leftover foodstuffs. We have also recycling disposal bins and have also planted various species of trees and flowers in our spacious gardens. (Ref photos attached).
