Local Attractions
Located a whole 200 metres from Bang Bao Beach and the stilted fishing village in the bay, with its local small and quaint shops and restaurants the whole location is a feast for your eyes. This part of the island is renowned for its crystal clear waters and Coral Sea bed and is arguably the best location for snorkelling on the island. Due to the fact there are so few roads crossing this part of paradise it is also an ideal place to hike or simply ramble and bird watch.

Local Shuttle Info: From the ferries to the Hostel:On arrival at any of the ferry piers on Koh Chang, you will find mini pick-up truck taxis called Songthaews (a pick-up truck with seating running down both flanks of the rear of the vehicle) ready to take you anywhere on Koh Chang, for 50 to 150 Baht per person depending on the distance. We are approx. 20 mins away and the fare is approx. 150Baht, always agree the price with the driver before getting on board the Songthaews.
