Situated in the heart of Vicenza's historic centre, the hostel is close to the famous Teatro Olympico and makes a good base for visiting the nearby palaces and country houses designed by the architect Palladio. Accommodation is in 1-6 bedded rooms and facilities include TV, common rooms,tourist information, luggage store, cycle store,lockers,lift. The great city center, virtually free from foreign tourists but a real treasure house. The walk to the hillside church and from there over the hill onto the newly renovated walking path along vineyards straight to Palladio's villa La Rotonda, from there to the villa I Nani and back into town. Vicenza in the heart of Veneto region. Only 1 hour from VENICE AND VERONA by cheapers trains and half hour from PADOVA. The dolomites mountains (Marmolada, Civetta...) and the most importants ski resorts (Arabba, Corvara, Cortina...) are situated at one hour and half from Vicenza
