In order to adhere to these principles we endeavor to: Comply with all applicable environmental laws, statutes and regulations and take a proactive approach to future requirements and obligations. Continuously improve environmental performance and reduce environmental impact of our activitiesbut also maintaining the quality of service expected by our guests. Monitor performance and aim for continued improvement by reducing re-using, and recycling in areas such as energy consumption, reduction of waste materials and water consumption Create environmental awareness among our employees, customers, suppliers and the community at large. Set sound environmental and social objectives and targets, and integrate a process of review and reporting.Current procedures:Saving energy and water and reducing waste by: Monitoring energy and water consumption on monthly basis. Have effective energy efficient lighting installed in at least 50% of areas. Have installed environmentally friendly flow restrictors, controllers and showerheads and taps. Have a policy of purchasing low energy equipment for electrical devices i.e.: fridges, cookers, washing machines. Have an Energy Management System installed to turn lights, electrical appliances and air conditioning off in empty rooms.
