Opened in January 2002, the Southbridge Hotel & Conference Center is located in the peaceful New England town of Southbridge, Massachusetts. It is easily accessible within just one hours drive from both Boston, Hartford and Providence. Southbridge combines the beauty and hospitality of a fine hotel with the technological convenience of a conference center.A magnificent clock tower rises above the 100 year old façade of the American Optical Company, which has been painstakingly preserved, to create a unique focal point. Visions Restaurant, Shades Lounge, Focus Fitness Center, the Crystal Ballroom and the Prism Auditorium have all been affectionately named for the historical connection between the old optical company and its influence on the Southbridge community.With such landmarks incorporated into the surroundings, the Southbridge Hotel & Conference Center recalls the charm and grace of earlier times, while including modern day advantages and luxuries.
