This is an amazing place to stay. The breakfast is delicious and the staff are warm and helpful. Everyone is so nice! The hotel is a lovely, short walk to the V and A waterfront and is on the water with a lovely view. I was jetlagged so often ate a light meal at 3am and it was always easy and prompt for room service. The room was cleaned with care. There are some renovations going on in the day but they would not deter me at all from staying again. Taxis and Ubers were all able to find the hotel easily. It's a short distance from many other amazing places and a very warm and calm place to come back to. The spa services are excellent. I had about four treatments, including one of the four hour ones and each one was wonderful. Martin the hairdresser and Mandy (for microneedling) were lovely. I recommend the spirit of Africa massage and the rose quartz treatment. There is a relaxing salt room and a warm inside pool/spa, sauna, as well as gym. These are very pleasant and accessible to guests. This was my first visit to Cape Town and I plan to return soon. I will definitely stay here next time.
