Hotel El Cráter is located 30 minutes from Quito, and 5 minutes from the Equator and the "middle of the world" museum.Facade covered with hand-carved pumice stone, we have 8 Luxurious suites and 3 standard rooms, elegantly decorated in a minimalist ethnic style.The spacious and warm suites have an exceptional view toward the volcano "Pululahua"- one of only two populated volcanoes in the world- and toward the Equator. A beautiful mountain view and a constantly changing landscape are observed perfectly from the room, thanks to its generous huge picture-windows.All the elements used in the hotel are organic, designed and made handcrafted by locally famous artists. the restaurant permits a visibility of 360 degrees. The construction of the restaurant was made handcrafted, utilizing construction material from the adjacent area. The combination of the stone, the pumice stone and the wood creates a remarkably warm space the respects its environment while adding it a unique aesthetic touch. The Hotel as well as the Restaurant and the business center, are all share a huge and extended green area. The green areas permit a range of enjoyable outdoor activities for groups.
