"Denied Refund"

Was driving across country from military duty and had a tire blow out. Called the reservation planner and the hotel as soon as the emergency happened to cancel my reservation and request a full refund. Was initially told I would be given a onetime courtesy full refund. I inquired about the refund when I returned to my home station and was told I couldn't receive it because I could not produce the name of the individual who promised me the refund. Lost complete faith in the Holiday Inn.

NEWLY RENOVATED.Hotel located in beautiful SW Roanoke, only 2 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Within walking distance of Tanglewood Mall with shopping, restaurants and theatres. Full Service Restaurant & Lounge on Property with DJ & Karaoke on weekends. All rooms are equipped with micro-fridge, Keurig Coffee Makers, free high speed wireless internet. Hotel renovated in 2012. All guest rooms have new carpeting, new wall finish with accent wall,beautifully renovated bathrooms, new drapes & new art work for a new fresh and modern look. All guest baths rooms have new vanities, new lighting, new floor tiles and updated amenites for your convenience. Grand Ballroom with 6100 sf of meeting space divides into 5 separate rooms with 4 additional rooms available. We can accommodate a 600 event theatre style or a 350 event Conference with breakouts. All located on the first floor and equipped with free high speed wireless internet. Our Chefs are sure to please any taste bud and can prepare a variety of menus. Meeting Packages are available. Beautiful ad newly renovated Outdoor Pool (Seasonal). Business Center in Lobby area.
