As of April 1st, 2015, New Orleans will welcome back the Holiday Inn Express to the downtown. Just in time and in the perfect location for business travelers and social groups, the Holiday Inn Express is the FIRST of their new "Red" brand designation. Gearing design, amenities and function toward today's modern traveler (while still offering the amenities leisure travelers have come to expect) this property will delight guests. Once you breeze through the new 'pod' style check in area (don't worry, there are live agents available to assist) and get to your room you'll be pleased with the PLENTIFUL outlets (and USB ports) throughout the room. Comfy beds, contemporary colors and windows give the rooms a spacious feel. Since this was a historic building, they couldn't change the superstructure, but that just gives each room it's own flavor. Barn doors on the bathrooms and outside vanities make it convenient if more than one person is getting ready for a night on the town (Bourbon Street is a 10 minute walk away, ya know!). Parking is limited, but several area lots provide low cost options for all. Fitness center, pool and flexible meeting space round out the list of amenities.
