Coral Sea Resort is nestled on the edge of the magnificent Great Barrier Reef and the 74 Island wonders that surround it. Located on the mainland in Airlie Beach, we are within a 25 minute drive to the two local airports and ferry terminals that deliver you to the breathtaking sands of Whitehaven beach. The resort town of Airlie Beach is a 300 metre flat stroll to 30 restaurants, bars and eclectic resort shopping. Access to Coral Sea Resort is via "Whitsunday Coast Airport" (Proserpine) & Hamilton Island Airport. Leading Airlines, Jetstar, Virgin Australia and Tigerair offer direct flights daily from most major cities to Proserpine Airport. From Proserpine there is a 25 minute transfer to Coral Sea Resort, transfers can be booked through the hotel. Hamilton Island Airport is serviced daily by Qantas Business Class, Virgin Australia and Jetstar from all major centres, direct flights are available from both Sydney and Brisbane. From the airport there is a 45 minute scenic ferry transfer through the Whitsunday islands to the resort. The Nautilus conference room has the ability to cater for up to 200 delegates with a spacious terrace area to the side overlooking the Coral Sea, an ideal location for delegates to recharge during the day. Whether it be a training session, presentation or private function we can cater for all of your needs, with various venues to hold welcome drinks or a gala dinner, you will amaze your delegates with the stunning views and sunsets that we have to offer.
