Our room key quit working the first night we arrived. My husband waited at the front desk for approximately 15 minutes as well as we called for about 30 minutes without anyone at the front desk answering. The water to the Hotel went out at 10 AM and we had to be at a wedding at 6 PM. No one was notified of the outage our child happen to be in the lobby getting snacks when she heard the staff talking about it. We called the front desk and they told us it was a citywide outage. Our friends who are staying at another hotel approximately half mile away had water as well as many other hotels. We had to check out and find another room ASAP in order to get ready for the wedding. They offered no apologies and continued to blame it on the entire city so therefore they would not Issue a partial refund for our inconvenience. Our room was clean and spacious therefore the only reason for a two star review. The hotel we were able to book down the street was kind enough to let us check in early, gave us a discount on the room since we had a bad experience and also gave us vouchers for two free drinks at their bar due to poor customer service received at this hotel. Will certainly not consider staying at another comfort inn.
