The room I was promised was not what was given to me. I was told all rooms had refrigerators and microwave ovens. I needed a fridge to keep medicine in. After almost two hours waiting in the lobby for a room, an elderly gentleman moved a refrigerator and microwave to a room. Poor thing had to drag it from a 2nd floor room because they don't have elevators. I was given a handicap room, but that was not the problem. It didn't have anywhere to hang clothes. Luckily, I always have hangers. I had to pile up the clothes and hang on the hooks that hold the ironing board. There was no iron in the room and ironing board didn't have a cover. I was there four nights and no manager to explain the misunderstanding or at least apologize for so many issues that I can't write here. The young man at the desk looked at me like deer in the headlights and plainly said they were not responsible. In other words, take it or leave it. Since I had to have the room keys rescanned every single time I returned to the room, I had plenty of time to hear other guests complain. The rooms were clean so the other inconveniences were not as important. Service is very poor.

My TV had no channel. There was no fridgein the room and not breakfast. Did not have an extra bed that I needed. Was not happy at all.

Clarion Inn - McAllen is an all interior corridor hotel. All of our rooms were 100% remodeled in June 2017. Full buffet breakfast, HSIA, parking, local calls, are just some of the amenities included. 100% non-smoking hotel. We also have complimentary shuttle service from McAllen International Airport. Complimentary shuttle services available within a 5 mile radius as well, to include La Plaza Mall, Palms Crossing Shopping Center, McAllen Convention Center, McAllen Performing Arts Center, Quinta Mazatlan, and local attractions and restaurants.
