Floridian Express Hotel

I had an opportunity to visit this hotel recently and as you may have heard or seen, they are currently renovating many of the rooms at the property. I was able to view one of their newly renovated rooms which offer two double beds. It was a basic room but appeared to be clean and somewhat updated and also included a microwave and refrigerator. Also, a continental breakfast is in your nightly rate which is a plus. The pool area was what I expected it to be and located poolside is a Tiki Bar. This also opens up to their indoor lounge which offers darts, a pool table and a few other games as well as multiple tables to sit and enjoy your beverages with friends. If you are looking to escape the heat and humidity outdoors, this is a nice option available onsite. They hotel is situated on International Drive with many dining options within walking distance as well as a plethora of other activities to choose from. While this is a budget hotel, I feel it is a decent choice for those who will be enjoying the majority of their time at the parks and attending to other activities. Their proximity to Wet 'n Wild, Universal & Fun Spot is also very attractive and overall I feel this is a decent choice for those who are looking to be on in the middle of the action of International Drive and seeking an affordable room rate.
