Staying at the historic Morrison Clark Hotel was both an honor and a bargain. It was established as a place for enlisted military men to stay in Washington, DC I have no idea where they stay nowadays. But it's at least three times cheaper than any other hotel in Washington that I know of. The inner courtyard with its babbling waterfall is a peaceful place to eat. The motif is Chinese. The room is spacious. I'm writing from a Business Center free to all. I couldn't be happier for having stayed here. It was through no genius of my own; the 8th annual Whistleblower Summit picked the Morrison Clark Hotel as its preferred hotel. A brilliant choice!

There was no microwave in the room. Food items in the room and on the menu very pricey. Restaurant options are limited; menu should be a little more broader and offer more selections. Offering a continental breakfast is always welcome; especially for the price you're paying for the room. Overall a good experience and the receptionist and doormen were very helpful.
