Property description
The AAA-Four Diamond Hermosa Inn is a jewel of a hideaway in the heart of the Valley; minutes from Scottsdale, yet surrounded by an exclusive neighborhood in Paradise Valley. Originally hand-crafted in the 1930's by cowboy artist Alonzo “Lon” Megargee as his private residence, the Inn's adobe architecture has kept its “old Arizona” character and charm. All 43 casitas are surrounded by spectacular landscaping and beautiful desert vistas.
Modern technology meets authentic Arizona charm in the casually elegant spaces available at this boutique property. Boasting timeless territorial architecture, authentic furnishings, state-of-the-art A/V equipment and one of the largest collections of Megargee's original works adorning the walls, a variety of spaces throughout the property allow for an ideal setting for groups of 20 to 60 guests. Meeting planners may also book the entire property to enjoy run-of-the-house exclusivity.
The culinary centerpiece of the Inn is LON's at the Hermosa, the celebrated Four Diamond restaurant renowned for “artful American” cuisine, which is complemented by the property's bar and casual dining counterpart, Last Drop at the Hermosa, aptly named after one of the many paintings by Megargee that can be seen throughout the historic inn.
Area incentives include world-class shopping, championship golf courses, museums, hiking trails and numerous exclusive spas.

Wine Cellar - to allow the room to remain intimate, yet flexible, a massive rugged trestle table was designed for private seated dinners for 12 or a stand-up reception for up to 20 guests. Reclaimed Chicago brick, recycled fir beams from 18th century West Coast bridges and antique hacienda and church doors from Mexico were integrated into the design. Due to the cellar being underground, there is no Wi-Fi service available in this room. More than 1,000 bottles are displayed in the cellar today.
