Property Description

With a premier location on the vibrant Avenue of the Arts, Hyatt at The Bellevue lies in the heart of the cultural center of Philadelphia. The property recently unveiled a multi-million dollar renovation including revitalized guest rooms and a selection of public spaces. The new design, led by Marguerite Rodgers Interior Design, is a modern interpretation of classic Philadelphia that explores the rich political, artistic, theatrical and musical history of the city. The hotel offers 172 guest rooms including 16 suites and 13 rooms with balconies. The room design is a contemporary take on Philadelphia's historic interiors with a fresh interpretation of the city's 18th century of furniture makers, as well as art from local Philadelphia painters and photographers. The Hyatt at The Bellevue also boasts over 30,000 square feet of flexible function space including the Rose Garden Ballroom, and the Grand Ballroom which features original lighting designed by Thomas Edison, and the most celebrated marble and hand-worked iron elliptical staircase in the city. The property's modern seasonal restaurant, XIX (NINETEEN), located on the 19th floor, offers up a menu of farm-to-table cuisine and creative cocktails as well as extraordinary sweeping views of the city skyline. The property is also steps away from some of the city's best culture and attractions, including The Academy of Music, the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, several theaters, extraordinary culinary experiences and world-class shopping. Also nearby are all of the most quintessential Philadelphia sites, including the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, The Franklin Institute, The Philadelphia Museum of Art, Citizens Bank Park and Lincoln Financial Field.
