Accross the street from Philadelphia's iconic Liberty Bell is the four-star Hotel Monaco. Built in 1907, the historic Lafayette building has been renovated and refurbished in the prestigious Old City section of Center City. The new Monaco will feature "Red Owl Tavern," a 120 seat chef-driven restaurant and bar and a spacious rooftop bar overlooking Independence Park.Our 268 luxurious guestrooms will include 17 suites and 27 King Spa rooms. There is 13,000 square feet of meeting space including the 3,237 square foot Lafayette Ballroom with windows facing Independence Square.Located in "the most historic square mile in the United States," the Monaco is surrounded by historic attractions, art galleries, boutique shops, restaurants and nightlife.
