Sunwapta Falls Rocky Mountain Lodge is an intimate, high service lodge with great staff and fantastic F&B all in an awe-inspiring Rocky Mountain setting. Located on the Icefields Parkway 50km south of downtown Jasper and 50 km north of the Columbia Icefields, it's just us, the mountains, forests and falls. This fantastic location allows guests to easily enjoy nearby activities like the new SkyWalk, whitewater rafting, & the Columbia Icefileds, or to simply enjoy scenic wonders with the falls a short walk away, several local hikes, lakes and natural attractions like Athabasca Falls and Edith Cavell. With 24hr access to a passionate, dedicated and knowledgeable staff, guests enjoy personalized holiday planning, wildlife updates and tips, and full activity bookings right from the front desk. The quality and care of our service continues in the restaurant with a regionally inspired dining menu, and hearty breakfasts. Sunwapta is also renowned for its exceptional F&B services to day-time tours travelling on the Icefields Parkway. Sunwapta is off the grid, providing its own power. We use no phosphates in cleaning or detergents. Only fold cent bulbs are used. Towel re-use program and recycling. Paper free folios can be emailed for receipts.
