'Damrei' in the Khmer language is the word for 'Elephant', a creature that played a major role in the ancient Khmer Empire. Damrei Angkor Hotel pays respects to this beautiful beast in and around the hotel. Newly opened in October 2015, this beautiful 54-rooms specious, 4-stars hotel is perfectly located for leisure and traveler to Siem Reap. The magnificent temples at Anchor Archaeological Complex, where you will visit the unforgettable Angkor Wat, are a short, 7-minute car ride away. Siem Reap town and its large choice of restaurants, bars and shopping is all a short walk 10-minute from the hotel, or you can use one of our dedicated, polite Remork (Tuk Tuk) drivers. The facilities at the Damrei Angkor Hotel are second-to-none. After a hot, sticky day at the temples, relax by our salt-water swimming pool with a cold beer or a cocktail at the poolside bar. After a busy day shopping in the nearby markets, indulge in one of our many sumptuous Mtes Spa treatments or just relax on the Airawan Terrace. Our Aira Restaurant caters for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Choose from both Western and Asian dishes, served by our courteous, professional and friendly staff. If you prefer to stay a while in your air-conditioned room, you can of course call our room service.
