I made the reservation on 4/3/2025 for the weekend of Easter! On 4/17/2025 we loaded up the car and the kids and drove for the better part of four hours to arrive to a location that was COMPLETELY VACANT! The fire Marshall had evacuated the location on 4/11/2025 for not just one but 6 pretty extreme safety violations! That the “resort” had been made aware of dating back to November of 2024! I wasn't contacted or notified by anyone! This resulted in us scrambling for about an hour to find a place that accommodated our needs for a family of four in a neighboring city…Nothing in the area really made due but we figured it out enough to continue to be to salvage our trip and have fun. Then if that wasn't enough it was like pulling teeth to get someone to refund my money! Terrible experience if they ever do reopen I wouldn't even waste my time! BEWARE they're closed and you can still book to stay even though they're aware it's been shut down by the fire Marshall!

Our amenities include: Indoor Olympic size heated swimming pool with 110 foot slide indoor, game room, exercise room and hot tub area to seat 30 people. Cascades Café is located right beside the pool area and we have seating for when you need to grab a bite before going back down the slide. The Old Orchard Tavern Restaurant and Bar are located on property for your fine dinning experience. Deluxe Breakfast including with room: Yogurt, eggs hot & cold cereals, toast, bagels, creme cheese, muffins, danish, fresh fruit, biscuits, juices, coffee and milk. Biltmore House, Chimney Rock, Golf Packages available. Hotel just off exit 49A. Hospitality room. Asheville Airport 15 minutes away.
