The spring and fall seasons tend to be mild, with highs in the low 80s or upper 70s and very little rain. Temperatures often dip into the 50s during the winter, though daily highs typically reach the mid-60s. Due to its elevation, Tucson also receives about a half inch of snow every winter.

Every January, the Tucson Jazz Festival draws jazz musicians and fans from around the globe for a 10-day event. In February, La Fiesta de Los Vaqueros brings professional rodeo to Tucson, with saddle bronc riding, bull riding, steer wrestling, and team roping. "I have very fond memories of Tucson"
Score 5.0 / 5

I received my Masters Degree from the University of Arizona back in the 70's and my brother used to live there. I have very fond memories of Tucson. I usually visit friends from my UofA days. I'm very fond of The Desert Museum, Pinnacle Peak, The Pistolaros show at Trail Dust Town, Flandreau Planetarium on UofA campus (if astronomy shows are still provided) and definitely trips to Sabino Canyon and up Mt. Lemmon. The Museum on the campus of UofA is very interesting. The restaurants on 4th Ave (I think is the spot) are very good. Is Lindy's still in that area? My later visits to Tucson were to visits friends and family members so didn't need to be touristy. Can't forget a trip to See's Candies. Such a treat. I also got to meet my 2 year old great great nephew while in town in October.
