I love the city of Yuma that's my home town that's where I was raised.
I was working while I was in Yuma so I didn't get to see a whole bunch of the city but what I did see is that they have a military base there and for Walmarts go figure I'm a spark driver for Walmart LOL. Some of the people were so kind there then there's others but that's everywhere. Just remember that super 8 Windham is a great place to stay it's very lit up they have plenty of security cameras, I believe I met either one of the managers or one of the owners the next day before I left and he was really nice. Quite witty too. I couldn't find my car well there's so many entrances and exits that I got lost around the window lol it was quite hilarious. Made my trip home a little lighter for that trip. The area off Highway 8 at Rt 95 is close to all the restaurants that we enjoy as well as the mall for shopping.

Location of the hotel was very convenient. Easy access to the highway to Algodones Mexico. I like the agricultural areas and the Yuma visitors information center. Please bring back Lettuce Days.

The city of Yuma was very nice. Lots of options for food and shopping.
Wanted to get away for the weekend and scheduled the river float. We went out to dinner one night and an amazing dinner in the hotel another night. Everything was excellent.

My parents lived in Yuma for 25 years and I love the hometown feel. We visited my parents and friends ashes in the Valley of the Names. Had a fabulous meal at River City Grill with my parents' friends. We had a wonderful weekend in Yuma!

Great experience. Very clean, spacious room, friendly and helpful staff. The foothills are beautiful, and the city is not crowded, and I didn't see any homeless on the streets. The shopping is fun and so much to do here. I would need a few more days to do everything I wanted to do.
