Castle Hilo Hawaiian hotel is in a great location overlooking Hilo Bay and Coconut Island. They offer a $10 off breakfast discount per day per room. Breakfast in the WSW room is good. The room was clean enough. A very nice service is that you receive four pillows. Two are firm and two are soft. Our room was equipped with a small refrigerator and it had the standard drip coffee machine. I would recommend the hotel for convenience and relative comfort. It is air conditioned, good water pressure with hot enough water temperature, you can walk downstairs for meals, it is close to drive to most of the businesses in Hilo, the lobby is quite beautiful. Parking and wi-fi are included. You can walk a few yards to a prepared cold sandwich and sundries shop right across the entrance. Just next to the hotel is a fabulous gift shop with affordable earrings, cards, women's accessories and nice gifts at reasonable prices.
