Rooms were updated and well kept. The staff wasn't very friendly though. Especially the happy hour bartender who was very rude. Yes there are rules for happy hour but can be expressed in a nicer and friendlier way.

As the only full service all suite property in Santa Monica, the Doubletree Guest Suites features a separate bedroom and living room area with king or double beds and a pullout sofa with fully stocked mini bars, wet bar, hairdryer, coffee maker, iron/ironing board, 2 remote controlled TV with cable channels, dula line phones, work desk and complimentary wireless high speed internet access. Pool, jacuzzi, fitness center, dry sauna, electronic massage chairs, restaurant, bar, coffee bar featuring Starbucks coffee, laundry room. With over 10,000 sq. ft. in meeting and banquet space, the Doubletree Guest Suites sales and catering team will take care of every detail to make your stay a pleasant one. Located 3 blocks from the Pacific ocean, mall and Third Street Promenade, the hotel is easily acessible from a major freeway.
