Sawubona and welcome to our 2,000 hectare game reserve in South Africa located in the Mpumalanga Province. Meaning “place of the rock” in the local Swazi tongue, Kwa Madwala lies on the southern side of Kruger National Park and in close proximity to Swaziland and Mozambique.
Kwa Madwala Private Game Reserve offers the best possible combinations of game viewing experiences available in South Africa. These include Wilderness drives and Kruger National Park Game Drives, Night Drives and Walking Safaris.
Kwa Madwala is the only single Safari destination in Africa which offers Elephant Back Safaris, Low altitude Microlight Safaris and Horse Back Safaris on site in the reserve – these activities regularly get described and referred to by many a past client as the highlight of their entire visit to South Africa. Golfing: Kwa Madwala has secured rights for all our clients to play the prestigious Leopard Creek Golf course, a really special Golf experience! The Manyatta Rock Camp nestles amongst boulders and trees that form a kopje overlooking the private Kwa Madwala Reserve, with magnificent views from the dining deck, bar and private lookout deck of each chalet.
While staying in the Kwa Madwala Private Game Reserve you will be able to watch the sun rise over the Lebombo Mountains to the east and in the evenings marvel at the orange glow of the sun as it sets again in the west.
