Unfortunately, we didn't get to stay at your beautiful hotel. We accidentally reserved for the day that we were looking at the hotel site. We intended it for June three 4. Within five minutes we were calling the hotel to change the date. .but. .your hotel would NOT work with us to correct the mistake. So, therefore we lost saved for $ for our anniversary and will not be booking with Country Inn & Suites in Stillwater. So unfortunate. We will book elsewhere in Stillwater for our 42nd anniversary.☹️.

"Difficult to deal with."

It is VERY unfortunate that I have to get this review. I was hoping that I could give a five star review but due to the circumstances I would not recommend this hotel to anybody. We accidentally hit the wrong date for our stay and five minutes later we're trying to get our money refunded but the hotel would not consent to that. If they would have done that, we were going to reserve the correct date and a higher price. For now, I will tell everyone I know to beware of this hotel.

It's a little older hotel, but has been very nicely updated. The staff was very accommodating and the breakfast was very good! Easy access to the hotel when in Stillwater.

"Great Stay!"

We had a comfortable room, great breakfast served late over the weekend. And Sandy, the weekend breakfast server, was so very friendly and a total pleasure. Paige, the Saturday afternoon check in gal, went beyond patience with a certain unruly young girl. She rang the desk bell every time she went by, Paige would come out (having to leave a phone call) and no one there. We witnessed this at least four - five times. Finally she took the bell with her. Then when this same young girl's party checked out, the girl slammed her hand on the automatic door and threw it off the track! The parents simply loaded the family in the car and drove off. We called Paige to show her what had happened, my son in law was able to repair the door as she had no idea what to do and the weather was very chilly. She handled everything very professionally and with a good attitude. Very impressive of this young lady.

Staff was so pleasant upon check in. Lobby and room were very clean. A/C worked really well (always important for me at least). Breakfast was usual hotel buffet, so no surprises, which I always appreciate. Would stay here again and will consider this chain the future versus the one I usually stay at.
